What do they believe?

I know its some warped new age Christianity with some new prophet …

any one know more. :?

I know that they have polygamous marriage and some of them keep long beard, wear black and ride horses.

Yea, I read once a book about them. It is a sort of different Christian believe and they say, that the Bible is fake and altered.
If I remember it correct is was all becuz of a prophet named mormon who came to a guy and asked him 2 write the book in som,ething like 300-400 AD

  • They believe that, there are several gods, and every human can become a god too, by living by the Mormon rules.
  • They also believe that God , was also human and he lived by the mormon books, and now thats y he became an 'upper' human. And he s also made of flesh and blood.
  • The also believe that marriage is 4 ever , so even when the go to heaven they still will be married.
  • They als babtize the dead, and have a ritual in which they can make a human a god.
  • And according the book jesus Christ is Lucifers brother, and that they both also are humans of flesh and blood.
  • Once a human has become a god his children will pray to him, as we pray to out god.

Its a strange believe and there were alot of things that werent verry logic to me and didnt make much sence either.

Joseph Smith founded the Mormon church in 1830. They have their own bible which they believe was revealed to Joseph Smith.

The same can be said about all religions. If you eat bacon, you will go to hell? Give me a break. I think God has better things to do than worry about my diet.

My brother-in-law is a Mormon (also known as Latter-Day Saints), he follows the Word Of Wisdom eg no sex before marriage, payment of tithing on all income, no tea or coffee, no smoking or consuming alcohol and a bunch of other stuff.

As Ashiaa mentioned they have their own religious book, The Book Of Mormon which they follow alongside the Bible.

There's a whole bunch of other stuff too but I don't know how much you want to know. Have they been knocking on your door or something Mo?

I've talked to some of them from time to time, seem nice enough-just not for me.
