So after Gabol, the PPP elected rep from Lyari lashing out against the Federal Govt and interior minister rahman malik, Sindh’s Chief Minister (an important PPP leader) now spoke out against the Lyari Operation, where many PPP activists were rounded up by the Federal Govt to appease their coalition partner in Sindh. The Army, Judiciary, and the opposition can just stay out of the picture and let PPP remove itself from the picture, seriously.

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah Wednesday said operation in Lyari was not carried out on our request; “it was executed on some one else’s orders”.
He said this while addressing an inauguration ceremony of a 25 MW rental power plant in SITE area here.
The Chief Minister said that innocent people were apprehended in the ‘haphazard action’ in Lyari and the Rangers actually ended up getting nothing out of the whole exercise.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah inaugurated KESC’s 25 MW Rental Power Plant in SITE Area.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the entire country, Karachi included, is faced with power shortage and the present government is keenly striving to overcome the problem.
He said that country’s 40 percent industries are located in SITE area and supply of electricity without load-shedding is KESC’s achievement and also deserves felicitation on installation of first rental plant.
He observed that if there was no electricity, it would affect industry and trade which will lead to economic problems with no jobs to youth.
He said that with unhindered power supply to industrial and trading areas would help improve the law and order on one hand and economic progress on the other.
