Well, you can take that whichever way you want but the fact is that there are a lot of NE Indian/Nepali women in the red light districts of Delhi

North Indian women are more traditional and NE Indian women are more liberal. I hate stereotyping but having lived in Delhi, I also know that NE women are generally considered more “easy” in all respects As they say, there is no smoke without fire

And Genius, the reason I brought up Nepali women is to show that for a lay North Indian person they all look the same.

Dude, getting beaten up by husbands, burned for dowry, getting killed the moment the are born/before they are born…thats the life for N. Indian women. tut tut, Punjab still has the shaan of having the worst sex-ratio in the nation.

the second most preferable sex-ratio in the nation, along with the second highest literacy rate, after Kerela, is in NE. and the tribes of Meghalaya are still matrilineal, women still have more power. no male child preference goes on in NE India. caste/religion based riots never happened here. homework, bhai jaan.

having a boy/girl friend is still a taboo in N. India. men can smoke and drink, but women cant. wearing short skirts/skinny jeans=being a prostitute. sadly, that is not the case in here.

sad thing tho, most N. Indians are lay men only. most rape cases in NE have the N. Indian armymen as the prime accuses. if NE women were indeed so easy, no rape would have been necessary.

and wonder why ppl dont think of S./E./W. Indians in the same light?

Did you read my last post AND the link you provided? i mentioned that these activities are done by banned outfits. banned. not normal civilians. BIG difference. in the link, its clearly stated than the job was done by militants, and the local villagers actually tipped off the police about it. got it, Genius?

All the fights and differences between different people belonging to different regions in India viz. North Indians, North-Easterners, and South Indians is purely langauge and sub-culture based? Frankly to me, everyone looks the same. In united Punjab most of Hindus were darker than their muslim counterpart. Sikhs did stand out due to the turban. Since Hindus are indigenous to the sub-continent, they have markedly darker complexion and are short-statured than the muslims of the north-west(Punjabis mussalmans, Pathans, and Kashmiris).

And again my question, does religion changes a Muslim Punjabi into someother racial stock, while his co-Punjabi of the local religion gains entirely another ethnicity? Muslim or not, a Punjabi is a Punjabi is a Punjabi.
