Truth is relative.. The purpose of the media then, whether bias or not, is to present the alternative view.
Fact is that anyone who supports the dictator will see the media as bias and those that dont support the dictator will see it as peesenting the truth.
Its up to the viewr to draw his or her own conclusion…
The prob with Pak is that the dictator takes it upon himself to decide for the viewer… Mushies thought the media were being bias and unfair, so Mushie decides they shouldnt be on air…

You also forget that Fox isnt the most popular new source in America and they werent the sole cause of Iraq… Fox only paroted what the administration was saying and those that supported the administration played along… Republicans and even some democrats would have followed the administration with or without Fox.

If Fox, CNN etc. did anything close to what Geo, AAJ etc. did in supporting the terrorists during lal masjid, they would be sent to jail for supporting terrorists, and interfering with security forces actions. Can you imagine any Western news channel talking directly to terrorists in an ongoing armed stand-off? The police would shut that channel down in 2 seconds. Channels in the West (most of them) are responsible, they know not to report live on ongoing operations or to give air time to terrorists. Those who don’t, get fined heavily by the FCC in the US.
