Not that I agree with him regarding being soft on taliban, but the new US restrictions and the pakistani govts that accept that aid leave much to be desired. Obama might 'certify' that pakistan is doing what it can right now but it is another nail in the coffin just like pressler amendment was used to cut off aid and even sell soybeans for f16s once the last soviet soldier left afghanistan in the eighties.
