I support you 100% and I am very very happy and thankful to that you are imposing a ban on attacks on other faiths. I don’t have workds to say thank you for doing this.
These forums should be intutive, informative and knowledgeable but it’s opposite.
I am sure everyone who is serious about religion they will join me to congratulate you and thank you for doing this.
One last request to all guppies plz plz don’t attack on other firqas or other religions.
Thank you. Although I must say to impose a moratorium would not be necessary if the members themselves refrain from resorting to insults on other faiths. And regardless, to maintain any kind of decorum in this forum is always a challenge.
^^ :amamah: Mufti ji, been meaning to ask you for a while now, being the chief architect of the moratorium, why did you lift it after it had been placed into effect last year, when you knew too well that lifting it would just resort back to the way it was before it was first implemented?
jazakallah for any input
It was lifted during Muharram cz I felt our shia members wanted to share their nohas and other stuff, and during Moratorium anything that is based on sectarian issues is off-limits. After Muharram, when the members just couldn’t stop themselves from constant fighting the Moratorium had to be reimposed. For the record, I hate to put any topic totally off-limits, as that goes against the purpose of having a discussion board. I only wish our members had been mature enough to discuss all topics with responsibility and respect for all faiths. Too bad again and again we are disappointed by the level of discussion.

I could not understand the relationship of “Lifting ban” & “Sharing Nohas and other stuff” in the Month of Muharram. The only reason which comes in my mind that you allowed other Muslims to criticize as much as they want when somebody post a Noah and when those days passed you implemented that ban again saying that the criticism could not stop. I hope you will do it again this year.
What I think everybody pertain his rights to post anything according to his religion following the “Moratorium” (whatever it is). Because this is a Religion forum.
It there is no such policy it means you are allowing other people to criticize up to the level they can.

We'll see what happens 'this' year. You think I lifted Moratorium so everyone can have a field day on shias? Really? Thats a new low.
