Well, my friends and I are going on an 8 week long drive, around 6000 miles and around 15 countries, purely for fun.
I was at a charity event and I happened to tell one of the organisers about it, he suggested you do a collection for it as some people climbed a mountain for the charity, some others did a long bike ride.
This, for us, is going on a jolly with some mates, I can’t see sense how he could ask me to collect donations for it? I would have gone anyway so it’s not like it will make a difference for us.
