Moqtada Sadr wounded in Najaf.

Link

*The radical Iraqi Shia cleric Moqtada Sadr has been wounded in fighting in the holy city of Najaf, according to his spokesmen.

There are no details as yet about Mr Sadr’s condition, but he is said to have suffered three separate injuries.

Unconfirmed reports by Arab TV stations suggested he was hit in the chest, leg and
arm.

Meanwhile Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, the spiritual leader of the majority of Iraqi Shias, who is currently in hospital in London, said through a spokesman he would not have left Najaf if he knew how bad things would get. *

Why has the fighting resumed between him and US? Things were fine and as i have heard he was forming a political party, and why now all this? He will be considered a martyr if he gets killed. Someone else will take up his position and the fighting will continue.

Oh, what a shame.

I still remember when he threatnened Abu Mus'ab az-Zaraqawi, on al-Jazeerah news.

Loser.

He's expected to fully recover.

Until he is taken out.

The Iraqi government has requested U.S. forces to stay. Attacking these forces is no better than attacking the Iraqi army or the Iraqi police.

^ Which Iraqi Government are you talking about???The US installed CIA trained puppets..?

The one that is recognized by the UN.

Goliko do you support the suicide bombings of Iraqi police stations? Do you support chaos and anarchy? If not what do you support?

Should Iraq hold elections right now? Does that sound like a good idea to you?

It is no crime at all. We all should strongly encourage Sadr to come out of Imam Ali tomb, take his militia out of Najaf and fight the occupation forces.
Hiding in the sacred tomb and shooting at opponents is not really a brave way of fighting. Won't you agree?

This Muqtada ad-Dubr. What do the Shee'ah Scholars in Iran think about him? Just curious. Do they support him? Or not?
