Yes, evening primrose oil is readily available in Western countries. but most contain gelatin if you are concerned about that kind of thing. I order mine online in oil form and take half a teaspoon everyday and then try to increase it to an additional half teaspoon in the evenings a week or so before the period. Evening Primrose oil is also good for your skin and is heart healthy sap when taken with fish oil. It also helps with breast tenderness some women get before their period.

It reduced my symptoms by 80%.

A doctor can diagnose PMDD. But you can take the oil without being diagnosed and see if tha helps. I really haven’t heard about any contraindications.

I’d rather order it online since gelatin is something I’m concerned about. Is there a specific (i.e. legit) website you use to order it?
