Finally I got to watch it. Better than East is east definitely. Some think that Indian’s are just making a statement of their cultural resemblance to teh West … I don’t think so.
I think it is a good attempt andmore light movies should come out in future.
P.S. lots of adult stuff … kids aren’t allowed to watch… !!!

i didnt like the name initially. then a friend of mine forces us all into watching the movie cuz some old highschool crush of his acted in the movie. we ended up watching it at another friend’s place and his mom happened to be watchin the movie with us too. it didnt bother us until the funky stuff started happening..

apart from the embarassment of watching (in the presence of a friend’s mom) a woman rehearsing dialogues for a porno movie, a girl making hot love to her married boyfriend in the back of his SUV just a week before her marriage, and some hardcore mumbai style swearing by nasiruddin shah and mr p.k. dubey, the movie as a whole was awesome

the acting was superb. the absence of a superficial plot helped alot too. some vices of the desi culture excellently potrayed. mira nair has done it again.
the soundtrack is awesome. total fusion of soul with tabla music. my favourite track was ‘Fabric’. it plays in the scene at the slums of delhi showing the home of pk dubey (the contractor).
ill give this one a 5/5 ! just dont watch it with ami abu jaan

I agree ...sound track was fantastic.And I really haven't seen Dehli once as properly as it showed in this movy... it was so like lahore (though Lahore topppps)...!
I think that was the best thing.... the whole REALITY air about it.Do girls really do that kind of thing in India???
And that was not a week ...but a day before the wedding.
