***There is an old saying that rain on your wedding day is a lucky omen. Since many brides often opt for outdoor weddings in major cities of Pakistan, they are always worried about the weather. I would like to know whether it did rain on anyone’s wedding or any other major event. How did you cope with it, if it did rain?
If you don’t have any experience regarding this then please share a few rain on wedding day sayings.

Re: Monsoon Wedding "Did it rain on your big day?"

Re: Monsoon Wedding "Did it rain on your big day?"
I have heard that the reason rain is lucky on your wedding is because, the saying goes that you are "tying the knot" on your wedding day. If it rains, your "knot" will be wet, and a wet knot is harder to untie than a dry knot.
I also heard that this..infact my nani always say this ..
Ditto! I had a habit of scooping leftover keer that just doesn't seem to come out of the handi, with a spoon! My nani says to me that it'll rain when i get married LOL
