Monkey business on Delhi Metro

Monkey business on Delhi Metro

**New Delhi, August 2: **They say it takes a thief to catch a thief, but Delhi Metro has hired a monkey to frighten off other monkeys from boarding trains and upsetting passengers. :shireen:

The langur monkey, trained since the age of three months, has been patrolling monkey-prone stations on a leash.

In June, a monkey boarded a train at the underground Chawri Bazaar station and reportedly scared passengers by scowling at them for three stops. It then alighted at Civil Lines station.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation says it hopes the new hire will avert a repeat of that episode.

Re: Monkey business on Delhi Metro

Lalo prasad yadav a corrupt minister from bihar now incharge of railway probably came up with this idea. He did revamp the railway system without increasing fare. you gotta give it to him that much.

Re: Monkey business on Delhi Metro

My husband told me that people who drive those big trucks and deliver things in pakistan, have these monkies tied on a rope at the end of the truck, so that no one steales anything from there, if a person comes to close to the truck, they pop up with a dhanda in the hand :cb: and can seriously damage a person .
And when they are driving on the highway, these monkies are tightly hanging on to the truck and you can see their faces flowing in the wind.
