I’m having problems with my monitor
For a while now it’s been flickering occasionally but I kept ignoring it, today it flickers then I see horizontal lines at the top which work their way down my screen leaving a space at the top untill only about 2cm of my screen is left at the botton.
If I turn it off the screen size will return to somewhat normal but then it starts “folding” down again, the bit that dissappears at the top I can see a upside down ghost/transparent image of it folding down over the bit that is still visible at the bottom, then it sort of collpases and all that’s left is about 2 cm of screen at the bottom.
There’s also a vertical shadowy bar covering about 1/5th of my screen to the left.
I’m not very technical so I thought I’d ask you guys for help, is it broken? It’s quite an old monitor.
I’m typing this with half my monitor missing.
