I’ve seen loads of threads online about Monistat working to get hair growing. Has anybody tried it?
Does anybody want to try this experiment with me? I need to get a fuller head of hair.

I've ordered some from Amazon, going to give it a go :D
It's coming from the US tho so in the meantime am going to use Daktarin (the one for athlete's foot lol) whilst I'm waiting for it to arrive.. Yes, it's a bit weird but does seem to work for a lot of ppl..

I shall try this too, this weekend. I had a few get-togethers i wanted to get out of the way before I tried this just in case something unfavorable happens or I do it wrong. I'll let you guys know how it goes, I just really need long,thick hair and nothing's been happening with other products.

I've done it for a week now with using one of the squirt bottles with a little bit of monistat diluted with water and I've done it more than 3 or 4 applications, kept it on my hair for 1 or 2 days and shampooed my hair. before starting my hair was at chest level and they say that in a month there should be 1/2 inch of growth. For the week that i did use it, my hair does seem a lot fuller rather than dull looking, not sure if it's because of the monistat, I haven't been using anything else. We'll see after a couple weeks if there is 1/2 inch of growth or any growth.

^Have you had any headaches? How long are you planning on using it? I was thinking just a month or two for myself to give it a quick boost..
I also use Biotin (w/Zinc) and that works well..
My Monistat hasn't arrived yet..

I'm not getting any headaches because like she said if we dilute with something, i'm only using water, and we aren't applying it full strength then there wouldn't be any headaches. i personally have not experienced any side effects, if i did i would've stopped it right when i felt them.
i'm sorry i made a mistake in the previous post, it's not 1/2 an inch of growth in 1 month that we're supposed to see, it's 1-2 inches of growth so i'll keep going at it for another couple of weeks.

I'm going to say that it's been less than 2 weeks since I started this and my hair has grown about 1/2 an inch...that's what it looks like since it's at my upper waist level now and it was at half chest level before if i look at my pic from a little while back. I really don't want to say anything until after a month of trying this.
I've been trying to get it to that length for months and it just wasn't budging so i'm hoping that it's at mid waist level or close to that after another two weeks. My hair is wavy but I can see the growth when I straighten it.....praying that I get my mid waist length hair when I have that big function coming up in two weeks!!!
was it just me being super positive or was it really the monistat that caused hair growth? I guess i'll get that answer in a couple days when I get atleast an inch of growth from when I started....or 2 inches hopefully!!

My hair grew quite a bit if I look at my pic from september to the pic I took over the weekend for my special occasion.it has grown an inch and a half to 2 inches. I see a big difference. It's unbelievable that an an antifungal cream did what I wanted for so long with my olive oil and my coconut oil and this one hair growth oil I had gotten that seemed to do nothing. For me it did what i wanted and i kind of got a bit lazy with it because i got the results i wanted. Of course I want it to keep growing so i'm going to keep applying it until I finish the tube i got....or maybe I might actually want it much below my waist(!!!i hope it grows that much!!). nobody else tried it??? It's antifungal cream, it's pretty harmless.

Well for me I got my hair cut more than six months ago and after I regretted that move, when I tried so many things to get it to grow back close to the length it was before nothing worked so for me of all people to try monistat, you can see how desperate i was to get hair growth, I put it on my scalp every day religiously and some days twice a day. Obviously people that can get fast growth naturally don't really need to try this.
I was hoping atleast one other person has tried it so I didn't end up sounding like those infomercial people
