^In my opinion, its perfectly alright to give woman autonomy on spending. In case of problem, the option of veto power is always there for man. But thats just me.
For someone who is dealing with the issues like this. Slow and gradual approach to build confidence is something to be considered. Its like building credit over time. There are men who are control freak. Nothing one can do about those.
