Money, Money, Money, my dear Sunny, a rich man’s joke is always funny.
Agree or disagree?
I agree that with money, one has more power and that by kissing up to the rich, one MAY get favors. But, boy, I will swear that money does not define what life is all about nor is it what makes people most happy.

Weak people are intoxicated by greed and power. I can't stand the ego that some wealthy have. I've seen it in the Upper East Side of NY where the tenants of my building treated the doormen like crap. I see it here in LA where the wealthy live in their own ignorant bubbles. I hate money.

money is SO cliched . i think that the notion of "Status" and "Class" is even more worrisome. money can be acquired. class and status are harder to get into. and for that reason people take it even more seriously and its harder to break through it to actually be a happy individual. just read the great gatsby.

your hubby is a doc, wait till u guys start meeting desi noh-daulatia physicians and the keeping up with joneses that goes on in that circle. never ceases to amaze me.

Yes, I’ve experienced that already through my In-Laws circle of friends. They are all doctors and some aquire their money in questionable ways, not illegal ofcourse, but a little this and that with insurance etc. It makes me sick, really. I just pray that in the future, I can be strong enough to avoid that ‘keeping up with the joneses’.
