Money is not everything. The real happiness comes with being contented with what you have. With counting your blessings. With sharing your adhee roti with someone. I read a story of a Sufi.
He was invited by a king , when this Sufi went to the king's court . Kings asked him what do you want from my Kingsley treasure. The Sufi said what would I do with your wealth which is not worth more than two drops of water.
The King asked "how come ?"
Sufi said "think it like this if you were trapped in a desert , very thirsty , no water in sight and then a guy appears who has some water he tells you that I will give you one drop of water if you will give me half of your wealth ."
Sufi ask the king , "so tell me O king will you give half of your wealth to that person who has that precious drop of water ? "
The king said "yes off course I will . "
Then the Sufi asked him another question "you get sick you cannot urinate , all the water you drink is getting stored in your body you are dieing to urinate but cannot .
A Hakim comes to your court and says I will give you a medicine which will help you get one drop of urine out of your body if you give me half of your wealth. "
The Sufi asked "So tell me o king will you give half of your wealth to that Hakim ?"
The king said " Yea I will" .
Sufi said "so , are all your Kingsley treasure worth two drops of water or not? Save them for yourself I am happy with what Allah has given me."
So ya think am jokin??? Lolz am serious, i wouldnt accept it!
Only time will tell , you are just assuming at this point of time. I have seen many pious men stumble when the real test arives.
But we will take your words for it at this point of time as that time has not come yet.
Did you by the lottery ticket by the way ?
