Last night wasn’t only a day of football, fried foods and zombie Gleekdom. It was also the night of movie trailers, with Hollywood showing off many of 2011’s biggest films.

That’s 15 films to distract us from the twists and turns during the game, and entertain those who loathe the pigskin. We saw Steve Rogers morph from a scrawny dude into Captain America (not to mention a peek at Red Skull!); more glimpses of epic Transformer battles – this time without a billion dizzying cuts; a long and all-over-the-place trailer for Johnny Depp’s latest pirate adventure; not to mention added action ranging from cowboys jumping on alien ships, to L.A. in flames, to '80s stupidity and, finally, to whatever ‘Super 8’ ends up being.
