she released her debut album called “Akhiyahn Wich Yaar Wasda” which did quite well.

She’s the daughter of godfather of Bhangra, Channi Singh, the lead singer of the Bhangra Band Alaap (one of the pioneers of the British Asian Music Scene), She has performed at major venues including -The Empire Ballroom, Hippodrome and Wembley, toured with the Princess from Pakistan Shazia Manzoor last year on her debut UK Tour and she’s just signed for one of the UK’s biggest music labels -Moviebox
I have her whole "Akhiyan Vich Yaar Vasda" album. My fav song from it is "Gharara" (Ill post it in Audio). Ive seen the stage performance of it on DVD as well. Never seen her LIVE. She hasnt toured US. She is my fav female bhangra artists, I must say.
yes i have heard of mona singh, she was at da newcastle mela last yaar and aakyihan vich yar vasda was a very good track,, yeh her new one is quite good also...
i heard a rumoue recenlty saying that she cant acyually sing, somone else does the singing and she dances and takes the credit for it,, i dont know if this is true but its somci that i heard.. weird though
