Since I will not be able to call at the provided #, would love to give me comments on Mona over here. Please if possible pass it on:

Mona: I believe you are good looking but you lack acting skills tremendously. Acting is not about making same kind of facial expressions over and over again in every single drama that you perform in. Try to take challenging roles aside and apart from the ones that will only go along with your exterior beauty. Yes, you will look good and will amaze your audience if you play a role of some "jamadaarni/ghareeb" larki so n so. I guess our public definitely is very much demanding and want to see you play a role of someone that is more closer to the reality. Being all puffed up in all kind of makeup n clothes and appearing as rich class person wouldn't give you much margin in everyone's opinion.

I guess thats about it for you.

I think i have seen her doing the role of sort.. She was ( i dont remember exactly ) a jhuggi wali larki , the extremely poor people who live in jhompry. I belieave i saw it recently, few months back. and Mona lisa actually did pretty good acting. and drama was interesting too, I think other leading actor was Nabeel :confused:

Arjay sahab if you could please ask her If the above information is correct … because i am not 100% sure that it was Mona Lisa in that play

Mona Lisa is quite talented overall need to fetch some variety in roles.

Good :slight_smile: it seems like my memory is not that bad :gizzy:

Anyway the credit for doing the role convincingly in that drama goes to Mona and then to her makeup artist. Realistically speaking, Mona Lisa has an image of trendy, stylish uptown girl. On top of that she has a genuine fair complexion. which was a major hurdle in doing the role an extremely poor girl, convincingly. Following, is an example of actor failing to meet the demands of character and doing it unconvincingly.

A B/w Pakistani movie ‘Mirza Ghalib’ made veryyyyyy long time ago , in which Sudheer did the role of Ghalib. As told by my father in those days sudheer had an image of agressive/agree young man in movie, people watching movie in cinema were anticipating some real ‘Action’ from otherwise, a very toned down Mrza Ghalib :slight_smile:

Also a recent movie in which Kareena kapoor unconvincingly did the role of cheap prostitue… simply because her complexion was so royal (thanks to pathan lineage) as compared to common indians and her makeup artist did a poor job so as a result she ended up looking like a cream pastry.

I have noticed that wau too often some very good drama, teleplay gets on air without prior notice, and large majority of people dont get to see them at all. Just because we often are uselessly surfing the channel to find something worthwatching. I have accidently seen some good dramas on TV1, Atv, Aaj and specially Hum tv.

Oh since Nabeel is also with you so As i said earlier, I liked his acting in that drama ( Laal batee ). He is a fine actor :k: I just hope that i get to see some of these well acted and well directed drama more often.
