Hahaha, that ladies name is Mona Lisa? I was actually really disappointed when I went to the Louvre. The portrait was a lot smaller than I had imagined it to be. Hmm I wasn't too impressed.

lol, true but people are still mad about it....I think there are only two places/points in Louvre which are always always busy, first point where this painting hangs and second one where Aphrodite stands.

There are many theories about her mysterious smile. Some say it was a sad and lonely smile, possibly to hide her broken heart. Some even say she used it to temp a lover. Hell you can even say she looks constipated. Lol

I think it's the title of painting that arouses interest.It's like if I start a thread on GS entitled Hareem, it will have a thousand views, but if it's called "a married woman with sons" it may just have a couple of views.
