Hey everyone i live in kuwait and my wedding is ahead in june IA. By a lot of surfing and googling i came across too names the most Mona J and Sabs . .I need help can anyone of you suggest me which one too choose either Mona J or Sabz .. i have never been to any one of them in fact i have never been to any parlour in pakiland so i need suggestions from you people .
and yes i forgot to mention I will be residing in Karachi.
And one most important thing went missing lol I'm asking this in aspect of bridal makeup. I dont wana be that cake **** i wana look decent yet attractive . for me i love prominenten eyes the most . so please guide me :)
From what i have seen of kuwaiti peope, their make-up is just too damn gawdy so you will be fine. I personally find here in Pak too some make-up artists cake up the brides but its still nothing compared to some of the kuwaiti faces i have seen horrible.
Btw, i have not heard of Mona J but yup seen this Sabs owner couple of times on tv and to be honest she sounds all gup and less talent but i cant say for sure because i havent seen her brides upclose.
I went to sabs for my engagement and I had sonia do it, she was great! I loved her and we chatted
and got along great. the girls who did my hair also were super nice.
But I think you could get away with saying you want "engagement makeup" b/c it tends to be lighter in application
than shaadi. I just found that it wasn't as caked on.
I know for sure next time I go for my rukhsati I'll go to Bina Khan, would've gone to Mubashir Khan but heard he's left Khi
for London.. ah well. I think they are the ones who apply it the least "caked on" but for some women they complain
that there's barely anything on their face. I guess it depends on personal preference.
She also did the makeup for my fashion show. There were some models I was really tensed about, whether they would look good or not after such heavy makeup, but when I saw them the day of the show I was seriously surprised:
Qadir, one of her makeup experts did my makeup. My face is very difficult to do any sort of makeup with because I have super dark circles, tiny eyes, very chubby face (not to mention the double chin), thin lips and I end up looking like a cheap lollywood actress after makeup:P He did wonders though, put a lot of emphasis on my eyes and put these really cute style of eye lashes on and kept the base to a minimum, only enough to cover the imperfections, and did a great job contouring:
I left most of the photos unedited, so you should have a look of what the makeup looks like before its edited and airbrushed before being posted. Also if saba is busy herself, get it done by qadir

anytime:) You can just drop in the parlous and take an appointment or contact me via pm and ill ask her to book an appointment for you as well because i know them very well and get a lot of my brides their appointments there as well:)
if your going for sabz make sure your specific on what u want. they have a tendency to overload on the liners and foundations - so when the liner startes to smudge u end up looking quite ghostly. I love allenora personally.. i find the mua's there knw quite alot in terms of skin textures and color co-ordinations as well as different ideas for your makeup styles.
I think you should go to sabs because she did a great job on my bhabi and on my sister ..we were recommanded by zoreed raza a wedding planner, to her and we made a very good experience.
