hey guys
i just wanted to start this
to help each other with things that we have learned, seen, done, etc.
its for all the little joys in our life.
so here is the chance to discuss all the questions you have of
taking care of your little ones.
what you can do and shoud not do?
and other things.
so just to start off.
i have two beautiful girls
my oldest is Zahraa and youngest is Maha
now my oldest is going to be 3 in jan
she is at the part where she wants to do everything
i am having problems getting her to not cry all the time for every little thing.
now for example
she wants something to drink like coke??
and if she already had some ( i put water in coke. like in a baby bottle
there will be 90% water and the rest coke) i say no.
she starts to cry soo much its not fun
on every little thing if she does not get it her way,
what can i do to help with this
i want her to stop crying for every little thing
When one of mine was going thru that weepy stage, I'd do my best to distract with something I know they'd like to do, see or play with. If it didnt work, I'd tell him "ok well I am going to do this and its going to be lots of fun. If you want to keep crying, you can go do that in your room. When you want to join me and have some fun, you can come out but I dont want your crying to ruin my fun here." It worked (usually lol!)

coke is soooooooo bad for them, even a little bit and the baby bottle, is bad for the growth of the teeth if used for so long.
my daughter used to see adults drink coke and wanted some, but even though she used to get her own way with her grandparents and daddy (she was the first grandchild and is very spoilt,) I put my foot down and said no way!!
and she has never had any.
say no firmly and stick to it and let the child cry, and show the child who is in control.
once she knows she can't win, trust me she is'nt going to test u so much.
I used to do this when the inlaws were not around, as they used to let her get away with everything!!:D
