Hi everyone following in the footsteps of Arzi's bundle of joy my baby girl came today 3 weeks before her EDD. Feeling so blessed and completely in love with her.
Congrats Hmmna Mashallah!! :) I'm looking forward to the delivery story :)
Congratulations Hamna :)
Okay ladies I have a question. I had my anomaly scan on 17th Dec and it showed 18 weeks. Then on 14th jan I went to get another anomaly scan and it showed 22 weeks which makes sense. Now yesterday (12th feb that is) I went for my regular check up and it showed 24 weeks though it should have been 26 weeks. Does that mean my baby is behind the dates and not growing well? I cant really rely on my lmp as I concieved while I was lactating and had not retained my periods.
^ do not assume anything on your own. if you are having regular scans, specially if the anomaly scan reports are fine (in sha Allah) everything will be fine.
How's everyone doing? Baby has been ill so we have been in hospital. Hopefully will be going home soon. Been so exhausted. But really hoping for discharge today.
Mirage and arzi how are your little ones doing?
Hope pregnancy is going well for everyone.
She had high fever. Has been on IV antibiotics. Broke my heart poor baby had all these tubes going in and out of her and so many blood tests poor thing her tiny heels are so bruised :(
havent decided on a name yet. Once we go home will then decide. :)
Had my first book-in appointment with the midwife and she started talking about the importance of exercise during pregnancy - namely walking and swimming. I thought it apt to ask her at that point about kegels - she says she’s never heard of them! So preeeeetttyyyy sure it’s an American thing
Unless any Brits out here have heard medical professionals encourage them???
Nnabid! That's shocking. Your midwife should know about kegels. They are pelvic floor exercises and not at all an amreekan thing. You can just google them and learn to do them. They are very important.
