Re: Moms 2014
How is everyone doing? I am 36 weeks today! Feel sooooo big. And I dnt think the baby will come any time soon as my family babies are usually overdue.
Wanted to remind everyone to do their kegels. I started a bit late but the earlier you start the better it is.
Re: Moms 2014
I'm so excited reading this thread! It's my first baby and only 9 weeks so still in the reallyyyy early stages...dangerous stage :( pray I pass my first trimester safely it's my first ever pregnancy as well I don't want anything to go wrong.
I have my first midewife appointment in 2 weeks' time have no idea what to expect. When do you find out what sex the baby is? I have no preference I just want my sona baby to be healthy and happy, and pious and cute <3

Typically you find out the sex at your 20 week ultrasound :)

You're going to be fine :) ..
So right about the kegels. They're the way to go. I do think they helped in my pretty quick delivery.
Re: Moms 2014
how do we do the kegels??anything that can help alleviate the labour pain!the pain part always scares me!
Re: Moms 2014
As much as I love my kid(s).. I hate being pregnant.. it seems like my body is just not designed for this and this article made me laugh out loud.. hang in there girls, even if you are not one of those who enjoy pregnancy and go through it like a champ, it’s okay, you are not alone.. just remember, the end result is beautiful!!!![]()
Enjoy reading this…
Re: Moms 2014
^loved it.
Re: Moms 2014
Hiya, I thought it would be a more chatty thread but I think everyone is being busy.
anyways I am gaining so much weight, feel hungry all the time. Am trying not to gorge on food, doesn’t help that everyone keeps telling me that this is the time to eat
. Which I think it totally isn’t but still somehow the stuff in the fridge keeps ending up in my tummy.
how is everyone else doing?
Re: Moms 2014
Don't worry about the weight. It will come off. I had put on 14 kg which is a lot for me since I only put on around 8-9 kg the first time but it all sort of vanishes once the baby is out. I've to loose about 3 kg to be my ideal pre-pregnancy weight (58 kg) but there's obviously a lot of tonning up to do. I guess pilates will be my way to go. :) Enjoy the eating.
Re: Moms 2014
Ooh Arzi dnt say that !! There is some delicious stuff in the fridge that wants me to eat it lol!
did the size of the baby correspond to how much you weighed? I am scared of making the baby too big to come out
Re: Moms 2014
Haha. Don't worry baby will come out. He was 4 kg which is around 4-500 gram more than his brother so there was a little difference but not much IMO.
Honestly abhi nahin khao ki toh phir kab. Afterwards you'd want to loose weight so just have it all now. I ate everything and looked like a whale :D and I'm still eating. I think I will start the healthy eating after his real DD haha. Itna to mera haq banta hai I think.
Re: Moms 2014
Plus breastfeeding will make you loose weight anyway :D
Re: Moms 2014
Yeah I was thinking about over eating too. At the start of pregnancy I was 55kg... 10 weeks later I'm already 57kg and rising. I am eating loadssss, and not because of the 'eating for two' mindset - I'm just genuinely hungry! At fajr prayer I HAVE to eat something before going back to bed otherwise I get terrible nausea, and I generally find myself eating small meals every 3 hours or so. It's weird I'm definitely worried about the weight because I'm really lazy and don't like exercise so I just want it to drop off after pregnancy rather than work for it lol
But yes breastfeeding definitely helps it did wonders for my sister she looks amazing after 3 kids mashAllah almost same weight as me!
Re: Moms 2014
I gained 25 kgs with my first. Lost it all within six months with just breastfeeding.
Moms 2014
Hope everyone is doing well. Im
In week 33 now. So post vedio links of excercise that u know help with labour etc. it might be useful for everyone here.
Kegels or more? Any please.
Re: Moms 2014
^ Walk walk walk!!
You should defo be doing those kegels .. or you'll keep peeing urself after having baby.
Moms 2014
Omg wendy thats scary! Kegels as far as ive searched are pelvic excercises. Like you hold n release pressure off your pelvic floor muscles.
Ive to be serious about walk now, im too lazy to go out for a long walk. All i do is to walk here n there in my house. Dont have much work to do at mummys homw

Yup!! If you can't get a hang of it just try it while you're peeing, much easier that way :D
Re: Moms 2014
^there's an increased risk for urinary tract infections if you do it while peeing
