What are some of the most heart touching praises, compliments or genuine comments your parents gave you? How do you react? Do you pretend it’s no big deal, but deep inside you’re melting?

My parents are not huge on compliments...but they are honest with whatever it is they say.
Every time I would accomplished something, I'd be surprised at myself...for whatever reason.
But my parents would not be surprised at all...they would just say...we knew you could do this. Why are you so shocked? We aren't.

Every time my father tastes something I prepare, he says, “It’s EXCELLENT”. But I can’t help hide that huge grin that fills up my face. And my mother is not too direct in her praises but very subtle here & there & I just smile lightly…
