The news from the centre is, Hum Tv owner momina dured has cancelled firdos jamal from her projects just because he said mahira khan is too old to be a herion. Not surprising since these type of things happen when authority lands in the hands of a feminist... The fact of the matter is, firdos Jamal did not abuse or insult or harass mahira Khan. He simply said what he felt about her. No one wants to see mahira playing a role of a teenage girl because she ain't a teenager and that's what he wanted to say... But banning or boycotting a senior actor over his "opinion" is another form of extremism.... These dooo-takay ke actors and directors have no okaat infront of firdos jamal.... well that's my opinion, hope no one bans me here..

This isnt HumTV so you aint getting banned. Although there are some good similarities between HumTV and GS cos of all the drama that goes on here with the handful of “actors” and “non-state actros” that are left on this platform.
This whole situation made me lol. I wouldn't consider Momina Dured a feminist, but it would be so amusing if more "feminazis or "feminazi"-adjacent women get into these positions and "oppress" the poor menz by not casting them into their dramas. I mean hey, males have been doing much worse whenever they get into positions of power in the entertainment industry.

Had a big laugh reading it. An opportunist dumb twat, jumping in just to hog some limelight without having even a bit of understanding about the issues of gender equality or women's rights/treatment etc. These are the same idiot copycats who would proudly stand in front of camera holding candles in their hands just because they see it on foreign news channels but would be too ashamed to be seen on camera offering Fateha or making Duas.

Do we actually know thet there is a feminism factor involved? I mean who knows that Mahira Khan could have approached her links in the elites running this country like establishment, politicians, army etc who in turn might have pressurized Hum TV owners for subsequent action?
The only reason that “feminism” is even brought up is because it is a woman assisting another woman, which totally means feminism and not just a high-profile actress with a friend in a significant position ~banning some old geezer from her dramas because he said a dumb remark. Rich women helping each other out isn’t revolutionary, but this situation is pretty funny especially when you consider the reactions.
Momina Duraid should focus more on keeping tabs on her limp wristed husband and the men he sleeps with. First the old bat Sultana drove away Badar Khalil for Fawad and now her heaux DIL is taking shots at another legend. I dont agree that Mahira should play mother roles (heck i am pissed at ZQ and Farah Shah playing mom roles) but its true that Mahira is a pathetic actress. She is only riding on the 'i worked with SRK' wave and even was bashed for her 'acting' in that one.
And then check out another insta thot i.e. the heaux-can sister who said that Firdus Jamal was trying to get his 5 mins of fame. Bish you dont even know he is and you should fixate more on peddling your flat chested assets internationally and on cumma chaati with Z-list Bollywood actors.

I never knew about this Momina, so looked up and found she is the creative head of Hum TV, not the part of main management or owner.

I think while Firdous Jamal is entitled to his opinion, he should really think before he speaks. The sexist and ageist comments were disappointing and do not suit such a talented/senior actor.
Found it funny how MD thought she would get applause for her statement about banning FJ but it completely backfired. Instead she revealed a rude, ignorant and egotistical side to her self that was previously mere rumours in the showbiz industry. I'm glad her treatment of Badar Khalil has resurfaced as I felt it was completely ignored by most of the media, probably due to some well-placed PR campaign for Fawad Khan and MD productions.
