Re: Moment of Happiness
Quick backstory; I read a book called The Happiness Project, really loved it signed up for the authors daily emails about tips on how to improve life and general well being / mental state and gain a fresh perspective.
Today's Moment of Happiness email was actually pretty different and I thought it was thought provoking:
“Associate with people who are likely to improve you.” -Seneca
What do you guys think? How many of your colleges and friends improve you? and how many of them are just baggage? Ever do such a self analysis
I work with a variety of people who i agree improve me, and have had a part in me coming out of my shell over the years.
But I have also worked with people that just complain constantly about every minor detail in their life , which makes me just not want to talk to them. I dont like being around people if they are very negative all the time, because I think positive all the time (yes am one of those people that get on peoples nerves because i mkae my self feel happy).
