Mom: What do you want to buy?
Me: Clothes - there is a sale at Ma-- (cuts it)
Mom: You have a closet full of clothes. And don’t you have to study?
Me: But now I need clothes for summer.
Mom: You have clothes for summer. Lot of them. Stop wasting money.
Me: No I - (cuts in again)
Mom: And who are you going to go with?
Me: Err - hold on, I will call you back..
(puts the phone down and calls her father)
Me: Baba, can I go to Manhattan?
Dad: Sure, just take your cellphone with you.
God bless them both – but is it just my case – or fathers ARE much easier to persuade when it comes to anything..? And mothers strict?

She barely even asks why im going to Manhattan. She knows i’m not goign to meet some guy and she’d rather not hear how I"m gonna throw away all my money
Both of my parents are hard to persuade, so I just go up to my Dad and say “Ammi said I can do this”…and then I go up to my mom and tell her my Dad said the same thing.
And for my kids I'm the only one who's strict....if their father has to give a verdict....he usually refers kids to me ....rather than saying 'NO' himseldf. :o
my dad is more easier to persuade i guess than my mum......but he always tells me to ask me mum as well and i jus dont get the point of that............wats the point of asking them both isnt telling one of them enuff
Wow, seems like all parents are the same. When we were kids, I used to feel like a shuttlecock between ammee and abbu, cuz neither will give me an answer, just keep sending to the other one.
Now, I think abbu jee is not as strict but harder to persuade, like if he says no that means no.. only ammee jee might be able to change that.. while ammee is more strict but if I do enough please please please, she agrees
oh yea well it’s funny you should ask that because I used the same method. I simply went to ehsan uncle and told him Azkar uncle said I could be the new Cafe mod, and vice versa…next thing I knew, I was locking threads with a cigar in my mouth and everything.
my mum is way more harder 2 persuade,...ufffffffff,........i don't even like approaching her cos she sends me bak wid a big earfull............
n my dad says i dno ask ur mum,............i guess most parents are d same,...they keep telling me 2 go to the other one and ask him/her........

Me: Mom i wanna go out with friends to center island
Mom: koi zaroorat nahi hain, u already went to wonderland tat is enough
Me: but mom this one is after like a month
Mom: kaha na koi zaroorat nahi hain aram say bayto ghar main…
Here is wat when i talked to dad
Me: Laal, i wanted to ask if i can go out to center island with friends
Dad: When is it?
Me: laal is on june 18.. Desi_angel is going as well.. dad is going to be soo much fun..
Dad: Ok fine.. come early though…baytee.. ur a grown up child, u know wat is right and wrong..but from my side ur allowed..
Ami: let’s go shopping
Me: huh? we just did yesterday!
Ami: we are going to a different place…plus i didn’t find blah blah blah there.
Me: grrrr…we’ll go tom…
Abu: tumhara chota bahi tum logon ko tang kare ga…aaj chali jao…im off i can take care off him.
Me: arghhh…Okay… give me five mints
