Better? For who exactly? If you find it better that people are placing more importance on sex than on the word of Allah and our faith then by all means that may mean better in your view. I hardly think its better. I think its just a symptom of our people losing their focus and forgetting the faith and origins.
If she is a hero for being a homosexual then a majority of the GLBT people are heroes and well then the word hero loses all meaning.
