I think in Qaseeda Burda Sharif ‘Maula ya’ referred to ‘O my Lord’ and will be same as ‘Ya Allah’ if we change the order of words to ‘Ya Maula’. Further Maula has been used in Quran refereeing to Allah e.g ‘Naim ul Maula wa naim u naseer’.
I think Pagluu is right that Maula has different meanings, but that also need further explanation in perspective of Arabic language.
