seems like a ‘reported’ incident, to me it seems more of ‘domestic dispute’ more than drunkenness.

i doubt he was drunk maybe a dispute and she reported hjim for being drunk whicih will tarnigh his image!

Moin Khan got arrested for allegedly beating his wife who claims that he was drunk when he tortured her. According to the link given to the article he is under arrest but no charge have been formally pressed neither have Moin gone through any medical checkup's to see if he was drunk or not. Moin's wife claims he tortured her while he was drunk and on her complaint to the police they arrested the former Pakistan cricket team captain. The officer at that particular police station said this is a dometic dispute but they have called up Moin's family and now futher investigation would be done after Moin's medical checkup.

Former Pakistan captain Moin Khan was arrested after an incident that prompted his wife to file charges against him, a police official said in Karachi on Wednesday.
The former wicketkeeper, who played 69 Tests and 219 one-day internationals, was detained at a police station in the upmarket Clifton area of Pakistan's biggest city.
"His wife called up the police emergency number early Tuesday morning and alleged her husband was drunk and beating her," inspector Zia-ul-Hasan said.
"He was released on bail by a judicial court but his wife has not withdrawn her charges against him," Hasan added.
Moin conceded he is out of order but asked for privacy to allow him to resolve the issue.
"I just want everyone to allow us the privacy to deal with the situation. My actions were emotional and should not have happened," he said.
Moin, 36, and his wife Tasleem have three children.
