Alhumdulilah, with the win things seem to be getting back on track for Pak Cricket.
With Yousuf and Abdul Razzaq back into the squad, Umar Gul morphing into a deadily fast bowler and Aamer showing intelligence and great speed in his bowling already…things have all of a sudden, over a matter of a fortnight, seemed to change.
Hopefully we’ll play more test cricket in the coming calender year!

This is welcome news and with Younis opting to retire from T20 it makes Yousuf almost an automatic selection for all formats (unless he himself does not want to play T20)

So that was the end of Shahzaib Hasan? Apart from a couple of good knocks, he wasn't that special anyway. But I thought he deserved a chance in ODIs.
The one day squad will be announced later. I am sure Afridi will return for that and there is a good chance that Shazaib will be included

Not sure if I agree with the selections of Kaneria and Fawad Alam (Is he related to coach Inti?). I know Afridi is not there but Kaneria is an over-rated spinner and I would have preferred solid batters like Shazaib or Ahmed Shahzad over bits and pieces cricketers like Fawad anyday. Fawad seems another sifarishi to me like Faisal Iqbal

whats with Afridi not being selected for the tests... that guy has pretty decent record in test, specially in Subcontinent wickets and even in WI.
