Mohammad Wasim

He might be the answer to Pakistani opening problems. He is in New Zealand rightnow, playing for Otago in the local domestic season. So far he has put some decent scores on the board.

He scored 60+ ( team total 150 odd) against Canterbury, with the opposing attack lead by likes of Shane Bond, Chris Cairns, Astle, McMillan etc.

Then he scored 108 against Northern Districts, who had bowlers like Butler, Tuffey etc.

He is in good form so why not get him to play for Pakistan?

Because He Will Be Reffered To As Traitor.

Good batsman, specially for test matches. Very solid and too slow, which is fine for test cricket.

naaaa!!! hes not that slow... jahan tak mujhey yaad parta hai
i saw his match against aussies in 2000 where he scored 91.. and it was like of 110 balls or somethin like that....
In 1996... i still remember.... scored 44 of 44 balls against the south africa.....
I think he will b a good opener..... he might b the break-through!...

AH HELL NAW
noway we r bringing him back....

He's a fine player for test matches.Good technique and temperament and scored a century in Australia which shows something. Bringing him back now wouldn't make sense though, he must be getting on now. How old is he?

well Mohammad Wasim ??? umm nahhhhh
too unpredictable for an opener's slot!

Mohammad Wasim is tooo sloww of a player and has rarely perfomed god with the bat. Right now, Pakistan seems to be playing well...so lets keep things the way they are!
