NEW DELHI: Pakistan Cricket Board has dropped pacer Mohd Asif from the national squad that will play in the upcoming Bangladesh tri-series, according to * Times Now * channel.
The news came in relation with serious charges against Mohd Asif that accused the pacer of carrying contraband drugs while travelling to Pakistan from Mumbai via Dubai on Tuesday.
PCB has replaced Mohd Asif with Sohail Khan and given a different reason for this sudden decision saying the Pakistani pacer was not able to play, according to reports.
