hey guys, dont underestimate Pakistani bowling. These same bowler did well without Asif and Akhtar on may occassion. All we need a fit Gul, in form Rana and some smart leadership. If Pakistan batsmen post good scores, and selectors on tour pick deserving eleven, then there is no doubt pakistan pace attack is still better than india, England, WI and could call comparable to Australia and SL. Only New Zealand and SA may have better attack in the presence of Bond and Ntini.
For example if Pakistan play Gul, Rana and Sami supported by Azhar or Yasir pace and Afridi, Malik and Hafeez spin, I think they are better bowlers than Patel, Sreesanth and Sami (may be comparable to Zaheer Khan, not as economical but more pace and better fielder and batsman), Azhar/Yasir much better batsman and bowler than Agarkar. Jointly (combining fielding, batting and bowling) Afridi, Malik and Hafeez are much better than Kumbli/Tendulkar/Gangully. So papers if we compare these two teams:

1. Hafeez ----------Sewag -----------Hyden--- (all 3 dept combined, Hafeez is better)

If Inzi leads from the front, there is no reason for Indian or Aussies to be happy rather should be worry that PAK still is a power.

I think that you lost it bro. From your own imaginary stats, Pakistan has a better team than Australia and India. I hope you didnt write this post in your sleep dreaming…Sami is just bad news all round man. Nothing good about his inclusion in the side. Just pace thats wayward and meaning its easier to hit him all over the part because his line/length just sucks.

I am sure he got the potential, talent and technique of a good ODI bowler, all he needs is to put the balls in right places. I hope he will concentrate on basics, and wouldnt try to do too much. In my view, he always tried to prove a point too hard and it costs him. Any bowler with a pace of 90+ mph could be expensive, look at Lee, Tait, Harmison eventhough they are supported by fielders like Ponting, Symond, Clarke et al., not by fielders like Inzi, Kaneria and Razzaq. I am pretty optimistic that Sami will prove as one of the most successful seamer of the team along with Gul.
