probably something along the lines that even if mehboob doesn't respond back with same level of interest, the aashiq bhai jaan will continue toot k mohabbat karing, sort of one sided mohabbat ki kahani.

Maybe. Depends on the shaai’r’s state of mind when he said this shair. If he said it soon after passing by his mehbood’s house, then my translation stands. But if he said this shair while just lounging around his house, collecting disability then your tushreeh applies.
