The poet says the lover is missing his beloved in loneliness and he has been thinking of her in the passing of the evening that glided away as the setting of sun beyond the high hills. Note the metaphor here - setting of love as setting of the sun. The sun, however, does not complain what it does for all of us. But the lover makes complaints in his loneliness and tells his beloved she never understands how much he desires her. She’s always on his mind. He lives in a culture where women hide themselves in their burkas-veils, and whenever he sees any women, he thinks it is her, his mehbooba. He does not know how to express his mohabbat for her directly, lest he be beaten up by her father/uncles/brothers; and so he writes to her ghazals full of mohabbat, every night. He gets vicarious pleasure of mohabbat doing so. He’s afraid she might have fallen in love with some other man. He becomes jealous and calls him a langoor, an animal that loves angoor - grapes, and makes her aware of the fact the her new lover might not be real. After he eats up all grapes - after he is full of her sweet love- he will leave her.
kya de chukki hai kisi langoor ko tu apna dil, Anaarlangoor bhaag jaatay hain angoor khatam honay main
wat is this????????
