considering the current scores, someone should wear a band saying 'save india'
Maybe a "save India losing" is what you mean. :) It's a cricket match, one of many, which 5 days after it's over will be forgotten. Also England's win makes it exciting since so far it's been a draw and an Indian win. At least nothing like last time when India played and we got thrashed by England in England.
Maybe someone should wear a wristband saying "Save England for being spineless" since they did not vote against Israel in the UN resolution like US but India did. ICC doesn't necessarily dance to Indian tunes all the time. If they did they would have no issues just like the Indian gov condemning Israel's actions in the UN. And really it was just the ICC umpire who opposed this.
I think ICC lost its crediblity long time back so this news wasnt a big surprise. ICC, run by so-called big3 is itself so much political that its not even in a position to say something like hey cricket and politics shouldnt be mixed. Its just ironic and hilarious.
Somebody scream in their ears, "You think its politics? Hellooo! This is all what you do yourselves!!"

Why u guys being so touchy? it was a JOKE!
Now, "Can please someone help Indian cricket team save the test match being played against the English cricket team" wouldn't really look succinct on a wristband, would it?
They could have 2 wrist bands to fit the message.
I was just pulling your leg. Just chill. It could just be “save indian team from thrashing” :Pi just wanted u to acknowledge that england didnt vote against Israel but India did.
joke matlab u have to put jk after it
This is a Cricket forum and I would like to avoid political discussions here, out of the fear that ICC might ban me.
lol ICC kanoon nahi hai..unke haath itne lambe nahi ke yahan tak aa jaye.
ICC said as long as it's not on cricket field doesn't count..so this on a forum :P
I don’t see the connection. Of course you have freedom of speech. That doesn’t make prejudice and double standards right!
And yes, indeed, I used the same freedom of speech to question the double standards implicit in ur bringing up the gay issue in this thread.
I don’t recall ever questioning your right to freedom of speech or right to express thoughts that r discriminatory to a minority group. I just don’t think it is very moral. Is all.
Its wrong. It his personal choice and belief as long as it doesn't interfere with sport or is a breach of dress code.
But I hear ICCs concern. They don't want their players and platform to be the poster for supporting Gaza, which is quite disgusting but not surprising.
