Stu had a thread about Hezbollah that was locked after Captain posted in it. 40 minutes later Ma Mooli decides to post in it? What gives, a thread is locked for everyone except mods so they can get the last word in?

let me make a couple of things clear.....
Afridi, if you have a problem with the authority that is provided to Moderators, take it up with Admin. And be forewarned...don't come with a problem and no solution. You'll be chucked out the door alongwith your problem.
I have, on numerous occassions, posted in a thread that has been locked. Not intentionally but by accident. I have overlooked the little lock symbol on the thread and since my clearance does not prevent me from posting in those threads, there has been no warning to stop me. It is not until after I've posted or when someone points it out to me that I become aware of what I've done.
I'm not suggesting that this is what Ma Mooli did, just offering an explanation for certain cases. It is not about having the last word.

How many threads can you point to apart from this one where the mods have gone and posted after it was locked. As Muzna said sometimes you don't realise it is closed because the forum mod and admins can post after the thread is locked. Lets be reasonable and not start opening threads in feedback everytime an exception takes place.

yep, this exception has taken place many a times in Cafe, which again does not matter as it is a Cafe
