modesty plays a vital role in character building. it restrains a man from behaving in an undesirable manner. it acts as a shield against immoralities. it holds key to piety. Holy prophet(P.B.U.H) said" every religion has a distinctive quality and distinctive quality of islam is modesty".
this hadis shows that in every faith some particular aspect of moral behaviour recieves importance and an extraordinary emphasis is laid on it. the word modesty in common use signifies that a man should abstain from indecent acts however in hadis and quran it is used in a wider range and in islam it stands for a feeling which is intolerant of everything that is not desirable or produces disgust in a person. faith and modesty are realted very well to each other. its like if one of them goes out the other one is ready to follow soon. the rule of modesty is for both men and women to lower their gaze and not stare at each other. modesty is not to be observed only in realtion to human beings. the almighty creator comes first.

In case if you didn't get the hint when I moved another copy of the same thread to religion, here it is in plain English:

There's a religion forum for such stuff if you are going to give religious examples etc. I read your reason in the other thread that you post this stuff in cafe on purpose because most people visit cafe. Well, then it defeats the purpose of having a religion forum. People should visit that forum directly, rather than using cafe as a middleman. In future, kindly post stuff that has or you think will involve religious discussions.

Since you already have one in religion and this is a duplicate, I am locking it.
