Could someone tell me how to put liner on the lower lid and how does it look so dark on women i see on T.V? whenever i try to make the line thick it looks messy…plus how do you achieve the shiney (not oily) but shimmery touch women have on their face even when they just have a base on their face?

Those foundations have shimmer particles mixed-in the foundation itself =)
That black black liner has to be oil based and not dry in order to glide-on..it looks best when smudged.

you can go to any makeup counter in macy's and ask them for foundation that has shimmer in it...and if you dont want to spend too much, you can always try Revlon...shimmer highlights...i think its called ...its about $8 and its a rather sheer foundation/lotion that gives you a nice shine..it comes in shades of peach/brown/pink glo...etc.
can someone plz tell me how to get the smokey look..and what liners are good, that u can smudge...totally suck at that

use hashmi kajal u get that from pakistan is nt liquid liner bt nt dry either , its fantastic u cn smudge and mke it thick or thin n all in a straight line.
i gtit from pakistan n its the best thing in my make up bag . cost me 15 rupees

Yup! Oil based are slightly oily and slide onto skin and the rims of u're eyes easily =)

does Mac or clinique have a shimmer foundation - shimmer blush from mac are fab but has anyone tried foundations? i love these two.

MAC is used for full-coverage if u have problem skin and is a cosmetic make-up brand. Bobbi Brown has really nice foundations that actually suit "desi" skintones..

that only looks good on tv/pics dramas and movies cause of lighting affect etc..
upclose it;ll smudge and stuff

You need the soft-waxy pencils..not the dry ones..it'll turn-out really black..I even use black eye-shadow with a q-tip.

Q-tip shadow and waxy-pencils together or separately would also work?
