Completely sleeveless comes of as weird to me for some reason. But if the the outfit as the tiniest bit of sleeve..even if it's see -thru (I have a couple of those which I wear to girls only events or gender separating events), it's fine. With capris..it depends on how short they are...normally if they're really short I only wear them to girls only mehndi mayos or dholkis or gender separated events (in my social circle we have a lot of those).
If someone wants to wear sleeveless, good for them. I won't say anything against it afterall it's their life. The only thing that concerns me is someone wearing see through clothes in Pak. When some cheap marasis shout out obscenities why get offended? Ofcourse they'll come out with stuff like " Oye hoye kia lag rahi hai" whistle I could sit here and write 2 pages of what sort of comments one's likely to get but you probably get the jist of it. Apart from see through clothes I have no problem with sleeveless, strappy kameezain, cropped trousers etc
I dress according to whats appropriate for that place.
Shopping in karachi: loose shalwar kameezes Dawats/weddings: fitted shirts, capris , sleeveless and whatever is in fashion. i hate too much flesh exposure, capris and too much tight outfits whether jeans, salwar suits or anything
yesterday i was in bazaar and saw this paki aunti who was top to down covered with not to mention way too large chaadar and on the other hand there was her ultra mod daughter in tank top exposing 70% cleavage and jeans with, i think she was wearing boxers under the pants, were exposed too :konfused"
