Parents got their admission done in finest skol, coll, uni. How the hell they know what's going on. Whenever the visit (on parents day) as things seems well.
The Indian and foreign schools here have music / dance classes but not in any Pakistani School. I think such changes came from other schools.

I am very sorry...but PARENTS should know what the hell is going on in any school, college or uni...it is their RESPONSIBILITY!!!!
When I went to school..these things happened in SL too...and my parents knew full well what was going on...and they made sure I did not get involved with the wrong crowd....
In Uni also we had parties with alcohol...but that doesn't mean that I have to do what everyone else is doing...I am not saying I was a saint...but my parents and my relatives made sure that the early years of my life...I was not doing crazy things....
I went to a very liberal school..it was a co-education system...we went on trips..we had dance parties...the teachers were always present to make sure the teens did not go over-board...
Ofcoz the teachers are responsible as well for these things...

I think teachers rule is more important then parents. I would say the teachers are the eyes of parents when they are not around. Another thing parents should ask their kidz about what's new they learned/saw in their skol, coll, or uni.
But it is hard to know if they are out of skol, coll or uni. :)

^yeaa...I think from a very small age you have to be involved in the child's life...also it is not a bad idea to drop in on them once in a while at school to check on how things are going....
