how do u guys decide on who to choose as a moderator, wat guidelines do u follow? a certain member of this site {u guys will prolly’ workout who i’m on about} has been pleading for quite a while with u guys to make it a mod’ today i noticed it was made a mod.
so i wondered y not ask u guys, wat is the procedure?
The exisiting mods submit names of possible candidates to me. I then interview each candidate via videophone. I have to ensure that we cover all bases. We have mullahs, morons, cool folks, tree huggers and fkwits on the team, we were in need of a hot chica with a mouth only a sailor could kiss. Since Roman was unavailable, I went ahead and gave the job to Sadi on one condition.

When we are in need to get a new moderator, we contact them. There are no particular guidelines that we can tell you.

Why contact Who-me?
Arry its simple, strong character and personality are main attributes. Educational background, interests are high on the list. Rest depends on what is needed.

Since this question has been asked again and again since the inception time and place, probably it would be a great idea to add a definition of "strong character" and list of "attributes" in the policy satement against which all the rest of the members can measure themselves.
The really wonderful thing to do will be to make two columns. Left hand side would be the examples, characters, definitions etc of the "strong character and personality attributes" and on the right hand side column would be examples, instances, analysis of each and every mod/admin. This will just prove to the world and no one will every ask such a silly question.
