Operative word here is Moderate. In other words, down the middle. As Chris Heyes pointed out, easy to be bought by lobbyists. Since no one knows hoe a Moderate would vote.
So let us list the accomplishmensts of this Moderate Democrat.
- voted against the DREAM ACT
- against background check for guns
- for the Bush tax cur for wealthy
- for the cushy deal Big Pharmacy got in Medicare negitiations
- against the Public Option for healthcare
- sided with Big Banks during financial crisis

This is more republican conservative than anything else. Maybe that is the brand of "moderates" (blue dog dems for us) in Montana like Susan Collins is in Maine, but still the liberal senators still had the cahones to vote against Obamacare.

There are very few truly liberal politician. I think the true liberals voted for Obamacare? Though politics is a tamasha - so I tune out the moderates and the Right.

Collins and that other woman that I can't remember now. They had some opposition to Obamacare. There is Mark Kirk of Illinois who has voted with Dems, though that could be because he is a fluke who came on Obama's previous seat in a very democratic state.
