Model Town Massacre

Yes, I know some people are expert at writing thesis on every little word His Highness Imran Khan utters. He’s a superstar. How can you stop talking about him? His little critics love to write tabloid style comments nit picking his personal life to wrinkles on his face. But let’s take a break from discussing (gossiping) some real serious issues such as his unconventional way of proposing and rush to get married and talk about this is little issue of 100 people who were directly fired upon by Punjab police. 19 had lost their lives and some are disabled and orphaned for their lives. I know…not a glamorous topic at all.

The JIT gives a clean chit to Law Minister (openly affiliated with banned sectarian terrorist organisation) and CM Punjab who was just a block away from the crimes scene. Okay fine. They were too powerful to touch. Story of Pakistan. This is the system and it cannot be challenged..

But where is the justice? Who is responsible for killing 19 people in front of media’s eyes. Someone should be brought to court and punished for such abuse of power. I remember people here were howling against Qadri, called him all sorts of names, couldn’t wait for that “Canadian” to leave Pakistan (how stupidly ironic!!), but now he’s disappeared, and look how he’s critics are so conveniently quiet on this issue. It proves that Qadri was needed to raise voice against such injustice! No one else apart from him or his party is slightly bothered to show any outrage on such disgusting miscarriage of justice. Arm chair critics were only interested in howling about Qadri.

I mean come on…just because Rana Sanaullah or Shahbaz Sharif aren’t glamorous looking, it doesn’t mean you don’t talk about them at all. Why is to so hard to ever call out on things that PMLN and PPP does especially those who love to take Holier than thou approach to the party or individual they absolutely love to hate. I mean have some shame and show consistency - just yesterday Sindh police in civilian uniform covers faces attacked the media outside of SHC for goodness sake. I thought attacking the media was a big no no, han?

Such selective moral outrage is nothing but blatant display of hypocrisy and double standards, and intellectual deficit.

Before anyone goes berserk. Yes none of the dead were either mine or Tahir ul Qadri’s relatives. They were Pakistanis - most of them ordinary working class folks.

In Pakistan - lines have to be drawn. Either you support injustice and remain silent or you go against and openly talk about it! Giving arm chair criticism on petty party politics has become a favourite past time of pseudo-intellectuals. The core issues affecting the lives of Pakistanis are wholeheartedly ignored.

Re: Model Town Massacre

My simple Question
ISI & MI were part of JIT last time & now
Last time they wrote some other view
This time they were agreed with this report
What happened ?

Re: Model Town Massacre

Thats the whole point. How can you have two different JITs? What exactly happened in the meantime that made the second JIT to take a complete 180 degree turn from the first report. Who was brought and who was sold?

Likes of Zaradri, NS and Sanaullah got back to back clean chits in the same week. Let’s not pretend these are small issues. I know pseudo-intellectuals love to indulge in nit picking petty party politics as a favourite past time, but these are the real issues that actually affect the lives of Pakistanis! It is the injustice.

Re: Model Town Massacre

I have seen poster throwing random fits and tantrums and showing absolute rage on likes of Jahangeer Tareen and SMQ - people who don’t even hold a single public office and their only claim to popularity is being close colloegues of Imran Khan. Yet no scrutiny is ever presented on likes Rana Sanaullah and other elected heads of PMLN. You can copy and paste dozens of articles gossiping about SMQ, but no word on why likes of Rana Sanaullah hold the position they hold in PMLN despite affiliation with terrorist outfits. Where is their fake moral outrage on that?

Those pseudo intellectuals self proclaimed experts on Pakistan politics are just embarrassing and utterly useless in their words and thoughts on so many levels because of their double standards and selective morality.

Re: Model Town Massacre

I can’t trust anything when PMLN/PPP are in power, sorry.

Re: Model Town Massacre

AND WE CAN NOT TRUST ANYONE IRRESPECTIVE WHO IS IN POWER
‘Model Town’ was a conspiracy and a reason provided to the the brothers IK & TuQ for Dharna
I think after few years some one ‘retired’ will tell the truth for some money or some rating
The issue well discussed in Script Gate

Re: Model Town Massacre

For jahil Mullahs and their equally jahil desi self proclaimed liberals - it was Hazrat Ali who said system of kuffar can run but system of injustice can’t. It’s things like these really make me question why God’s wrath doesn’t fall on these modern day Firons. Why the cries and curses of their victims don’t them. Sometimes I wish Pakistan was run by just and compassionate Yahoodis than these so called Muslims and fake liberals. May the curse of all those families be upon those who blocked justice.

MQM burned 250 poor workers plus children alive. PMLN used its personal militias as known as Punjab police to open fire at 100 or so people and killed 20. But one thing is for sure, you would never find that witch Asma Jahangir (and the usual PMLN apologists) raise a voice against such issues. God knows which Human Rights she talks about, to me, it feels like she’s the only true advocate of Politicians’ Rights in the country.

That woman only knows how to appear on talk shows and run her paan stuffed mouth to defend likes of Zardari and Nawaz. Why can’t they just offer her a position in their parties?

Re: Model Town Massacre

Even it was a conspiracy, who are the police officers who acted without any orders for SS and Rana Sanaullah? Why PMLN didn’t expose and punish them? Did any police officer got suspended for bringing so much shame and humiliation on poor Shahbaz Sharif if these weren’t his orders?

Re: Model Town Massacre

Agar kabhi Aap samjhain
It was a simple act
The planners knew
Only few rounds fired on Police even targeting not to kill anyone

And than the natural reaction of Punjab Police
But actually there were trapped some way , Just a foolish action of Punjab government at Model Town
It is amazing
Some work on Zulfiqar Mirza in Sindh for same results but we all warned them in time

Re: Model Town Massacre

Those police officers landed from Mars and disappeared into thin air
