Mocking the pakistani news channels!

WHY do our news channels have the worst narrators ever for their horrendous, totally unneccessary reports and play Indian songs in the background of important political news? What has happened to professionalism in journalism? :smack:

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

Why does Geo News have this particular tune/music that is way tooooo long and takes place between the advertisement of every show. It repeats soooo many times.? That bugs me more than the news reporters.

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

Tell me about it.

Did someone see how they called Veena Malik today after the cricketers were pronounced guilty today.

*Kia ap ab bhi Muhammad Asif se muhabbat karti hain?

Agar woh aap se ab madad mangain to kia ap unko apna sahara dain gi?*

I mean comeee onnnnnn!!!!

They don't even have an ounce of professionalism.

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

I am breaking my posting roza...but i had to..

""Chawalaa'n jahaan diyaa'n""

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

When I look at BBC, CNN, and Aljazeera...the professionalism shows itself in their well laid documentaries, reports and their anchors.

And when I switch on to ARY News, Geo or any other channel. Red breakingnews banner ...annoying loud music and then some political leader coming up with probably the silliest background song running. Who would actually believe in the authencity of their news then.

As if Pakistan isn't being mocked all over the world. Seriously it makes me mad !

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

totally...

btw what were you fasting for (no posting roza I mean) :D

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

the month is over......so u know....

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

Are there good journalism schools in Pakistan? To me it seems, these TV anchors have no idea how to run a show in a civilized and professional manner.

Also, out of all the PK news channels, is there anyone which stands out as a good example for others?

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

Academic Journalism doesn't apply that much in TV......its more of Media rather than journalism.... all they do is 'sell' the news as marketable TV programming......... as opposed to reporting/commenting .....

One good person is Talat Hussain , he is professional and less Bazaari.........

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

I think express news 24/7 (english) is better. Dawn News is ok too. But Geo and ARY ..they need a LIFE!

It's just not the anchors but the media correspondents. But the thing that worries me the most is that they mock their own news, own political figures and most importantly themselves to all the international audience.

Who would take us seriously, if this kind of media is representing us !

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

^they are urdu news channels…catering towards pakistani people… who would be the ‘‘international audience’’???

that would be like…expecting Fox News to cater to international audience :hehe:

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

Funny as it might be ..but is this news report even required?

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

But other international news channels such as CNN, BBC etc do take news reports from these channels as an example at times. And even if they dont cater the international audience at least Indians would get to have a good laugh.

Though I don’t expect anything better from them either :snooty:

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

they just take report relating to what they need… you can’t really say that they constitute and international viewership or audience…

and Indian channels?? Seriosuly?? you need to see those…Pakistani are infact better than theirs…u have to see their news…

Aamir khan’s movie “Peepli Live” depicts their level perfectly…Its a must watch..

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

This is a quote translated from a scene...

The reporter reporting about the missing (the main character)..and his detective skill is below..

[QUOTE]

Deepak: lf you look closely you 'll see Natha's footprints. Whether escape or abduction, here's where Natha perched himself for the last time. And here's the fruit of his toil, his faeces, commonly known as shi!t. Take a close look. Do not cringe at the sight, for, as long as we live, we will continue to shi!t. Psychiatrists claim that faeces reflect our mental state. The complexion of our shi!t is a window to the inner self. But here we see a mixture of hues. Therefore, before reaching any conclusions we need to bring in experts as Mr Natha was no ordinary man.

For Bharat Live this is Kumar Deepak, live from Peepli.

They just add *Mirch Masala *to their so called news reports

Remember the time when the whole Pakistani media was so much enthusiastic to cover Shoaib and Sania's wedding. bechari Sania ko bhaga ke chhorra media nay

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

ehhh I've seen worse.

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

To be fair, good journalism is a rare commodity everywhere. Personally, I dont get my news from the TV. Too corporate driven, investigative journalism focused on trash, and for important issues, absolutely no investigative journalism.

Re: Mocking the pakistani news channels!

Watch Indian news channels and you will feel blessed.
