Previously it had to be done on a month to month basis…now its down to day to day. Your prepaid sim can be activated for broadband net by sending a simple sms to the company in question. Cost is Rs. 5 to 10 per day for unlimited net with providers like Ufone and zong…Im sure others have similar packages.

Just to make sure I understood this correctly: You send an SMS to that company’s specific number, they activate your broadband access on that SIM for 24 hours and decuct around PKR 10 from your balance. Right?

So if you want to use it over a longer period of time you would have to send that SMS every day? Or are weekly/monthly packages still available?
