I am not aware of this race.
However I remember another mob which set out on restoring the namoos of the Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi wassalam) after the Norway cartoon issue. They passed near my office, I was watching them from the window as they went about smashing everything that came in their way, cars, motor cycles, hotels (Holiday Inn), banks, traffic signals and shops on Mall road…luckily my own car was inside the office premises that day…that was scary! what had the ordinary people got do with the issue??
